Just a year after the ambitious Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework was agreed upon, the European Commission is now proposing to weaken wolf protection, making it easier for wolves to be culled across Europe. From the 7th November, everyone has the chance to use their voice: The Wolf Within will be released on WaterBear for free as part of an interactive campaign to foster coexistence. Together, we will gather signatures for a public petition backed by 300 NGOs and 300,000 people, seeking to prevent wolf culling, to practice coexistence, and uphold the EU’s environmental credibility.
Funding for the film was provided by The Vaseppi Trust, UniCredit and TENT. In a landscape torn between harmony and conflict, The Wolf Within delves deep into the relationship between wolves and humans.
